The Gullah Geechee Historic Neighborhoods CDC Board of Directors holds its Regular Board Meeting on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM in the Benjamin M. Racusin Council Chambers (1 Town Center Court, Hilton Head Island, SC).
These public meetings provide the Board an opportunity to review and vote on agenda items focused on promoting cultural resources, preserving the Island’s historic Gullah Geechee neighborhoods, advancing affordable housing initiatives, supporting local entrepreneurship, and guiding strategic land‐use planning.
A typical agenda includes approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, financial reports, project updates, a public comment period, and new business. Agenda packages and minutes are posted in advance on the Town’s Agendas & Minutes Portal for review.
