The Gullah Geechee Historic Neighborhoods CDC Board of Directors holds its regular board meeting on the third Wednesday of each month in the Benjamin M. Racusin Council Chambers located at Town Hall.  The CDC also hosts quarterly evening board meetings.  Please check the meeting schedule for exact times.

These public meetings provide the Board an opportunity to review and vote on agenda items focused on promoting cultural resources, preserving the Island’s historic Gullah Geechee neighborhoods, advancing affordable housing initiatives, supporting local entrepreneurship, and guiding strategic land‐use planning.

A typical agenda includes approval of the previous meeting’s minutes, financial reports, project updates, a public comment period, and new business. Agenda packages and minutes are posted in advance on the Town’s Agendas & Minutes Portal for review.
