Located off Spanish Wells Road near Jarvis Creek, Jonesville is named after Caesar Jones, a freed slave who purchased over 100 acres of land in the area. Historically, residents were laborers, wheelwrights, shoemakers, businessmen, and carpenters. The Church of Christ, known for its spirited services, is located in this community.
