This free, family-friendly drive-thru event offers a safe and joyful way to celebrate the holidays from the comfort of your vehicle. Donations are welcomed to support the Park’s mission.

Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, commemorates the site of Mitchelville, the first self-governed town of formerly enslaved people in the United States, established in 1862. The park offers visitors informative exhibits, historical structures, a new interpretive trail, a pier for scenic views, and hosts a series of commemorative events.
