A COMMUNITY CELEBRATION HONORING CHAPLAIN (MAJOR GENERAL) WILLIAM “BILL” GREEN JR.

Join the community for General Green Day, a special celebration honoring Chaplain (Major General) William “Bill” Green Jr., United States Army (Retired), and his distinguished legacy of faith, leadership, and service.

A proud son of Hilton Head Island and graduate of H.E. McCracken High School, General Green dedicated more than three decades to providing spiritual leadership, caring for military members and their families, and serving our nation. The program will include proclamations from the towns of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, recognition from Hilton Head Island’s historic churches and faith community, military honors, and tributes from clergy, community leaders, classmates, mentors, veterans, and family.

This event is free and open to the public.
